Our riverside cottages have direct access to the St. Lawrence river which makes them perfect for a relaxing getaway, fishing and snowmobiling trips, boating, or a kayak on the river.

We absolutely loved our stay! Penny's Cove is such a quiet, restful place to vacation. We especially loved the comfy porch and spent most of our days and early evenings out there—starting with morning coffee, moving to lunch, and finishing the day with playing cards.
We also really enjoyed meeting some of the friendly guests staying in the neighboring cottages. Christine and Matt have truly gone out of their way to provide a unique and wonderful getaway.
The cottages are fully renovated, and it was so nice staying somewhere where everything feels brand new. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and they even thoughtfully provided a variety of pillows, knowing how much a good night’s sleep matters. The linens were great, and the towels were thick and soft. The kitchen is fully equipped making it so easy to cook and enjoy a barbecue right off the porch.
We couldn't have asked for a better time. Thank you, Christine and Matt!

Penny's Cove is a true little piece of paradise. We stayed in Cottage No. 3, which is ideally located near the water while still being secluded enough to enjoy complete peace and quiet. The cottage is clean, and fully equipped with everything you could need.
We loved kayaking, taking in the breathtaking scenery, watching the many species of birds, and, above all, taking the time to truly relax and recharge. This special place allowed us to reconnect with nature and with ourselves.
Christine and Matt are exceptional hosts—warm, thoughtful, welcoming, and always happy to help. Their kindness truly makes all the difference.
We left with hearts full of gratitude and wonderful memories. We wholeheartedly recommend Penny's Cove to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and we look forward to returning with great pleasure.

What a wonderful Place to stay. Christine and Matt have made this little Paradise a quite and comfortable place to enjoy. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need. It was a perfect location for us as we had family reunions in both eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. It was nice to come back in the evenings and enjoy the serenity. It was close enough to enjoy amenities in both provinces.
It was comforting to know that Christine was only a text away for immediate response if any issue arose.

OUR STORY
Our story is a heartfelt tribute to Penny, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. Guests at Penny’s Cove are invited to connect with nature, create lasting memories, and feel the sunshine that Penny so effortlessly shared with the world.
Penny lost her life too soon to Parkinson’s disease. She was endlessly full of life and light, and her happiest moments were spent by the water with an ice cream cone or butter tart in hand. She was a true ray of sunshine wherever she went. At Penny’s Cove, we hope every guest feels a little of that same warmth during their stay.
In her honour, 2% of all profits will be donated to the Canadian Parkinson’s Society.
